Complaints

Despite the good care and the high quality that Step By Step strives for, a complaint can arise in the cooperation between parents, children and pedagogical employees. Step By Step takes complaints seriously and sees the complaint as a time to learn and grow. In this way, to further improve the quality of childcare.

Internal complaints procedure


Preferably, parents / guardians first discuss a complaint with those directly involved. If this does not lead to a satisfactory solution, an official complaint can be made. This official complaint must be made in writing to the manager. The manager will deal with the complaint.

External complaints procedure


If internal complaint handling does not lead to a satisfactory solution, parents are free to provide information, advice and mediation to the Disputes Committee, located in The Hague. Or reporting the dispute to the Disputes Committee www.degeschillencommissie.nl. In some cases it is important to submit the complaint directly to the Disputes Committee: The childcare organization has not responded to the written complaint within 6 weeks.The parents and the childcare organization have not agreed on the handling of a complaint within 6 weeks. The childcare organization does not have an adequate complaints procedure.
